WSJ reporting Twitter to raise $100M at $1B valuation. I give the whole company a 1 in 10 chance of success (defined as all investors making money) given the valuation it must maintain assuming this financing closes. I do wish fellow entrepreneurs the best in their ventures but I’m upset about this that you can see in a national speech I gave at the Commonwealth Club of California last month in which I confirmed these kinds of financings are sucking the oxygen out of Cleantech financings:
