Zachary Ostroff Quartet
Zachary Ostroff
A 16-year-old acoustic and electric bassist hailing from Belvedere and the Branson School, Zachary began studying piano at five, and studied guitar and drums but found his musical voice with the bass, which he began playing at age 13. He has performed at some of the most prominent Bay Area venues such as Yoshi’s Oakland and San Francisco, the Fillmore, and Slim’s along side musicians such as Jaz Sawyer, Taylor Eigsti, and Howard Wiley among many other local Bay Area jazz musicians.
Benjamin Kreitman
A trumpet player from Palo Alto, California, Benjamin has been a member of the Jazzschool High School Advanced Workshop, Jazz Band of America, and Vail Jazz Workshop. He has studied with Terrell Stafford, Jimmy Cobb, John Clayton, Lewis Nash, and many others. Benjamin enjoys “the freedom to play what you feel and to experiment and combine experiences with the musicians around you.”
Joe Warner
Playing piano since the age of five, Joe has been trained in both classical and jazz, and has studied with Susan Muscarella, Kito Gamble, and Howard Wiley, among others. In 2007 he was awarded the Dick Conte Jazz Piano Scholarship from esteemed KCSM DJ Dick Conte. Joe has performed in the San Francisco Jazz Festival and his trio was featured in the Downtown Berkeley Jazz Festival.
Savannah Harris
Savannah is a sophmore attending San Francisco School of the Arts, in the Instrumental Music program. She has had the chance to play percussion with Sweet Honey in the Rock, Roy Hargrove, Javon Jackson, and Richard Bona. Savannah is also a timpanist with the Oakland Youth Orchestra.
Tickets are $20.00, $15.00 for seniors and youths and children 5 and under are free.
