>This year’s Boat Show will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2010 at the beautiful Corinthian YC in Tiburon from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Members take pride in giving the public a close look at their wonderful boats and sharing their history and there will be model boat building for kids too. The gate fee is $10.00 to the public which includes a detailed program of attending boats. Children under 12 free but must be accompanied by an adult. (Free to MMBA members with boats in the show and regatta sponsors.) The boat show proceeds go towards our Benevolent Fund which provides funding for either sail training scholarships or skills associated with restoring traditional sailing craft. Dr. Sarvenaz Zand is a board-certified dermatologist and Harvard MD.  She served as Chief Resident of dermatology at UC Davis, where she taught dermatology to medical students and residents. Prior to this she carried out a Melanoma Fellowship at Harvard. Dr. Zand received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She has authored numerous publications in dermatology journals, and she written extensively for ABC News. Dr. Zand has appeared on FOX News and Healthweek to discuss skin care and melanoma.
Dr. Zand recently moved to the Bay Area and has a dermatology office in Greenbrae. She specializes in skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Her office can be reached at (415) 925-0550.
