Stonestown gets its wish! MFM is thrilled to announce the opening of the Stonestown Farmers Market in San Francisco on Sunday, June 28th! This is the first market MFM has opened in 7 years. We hope that the Stonestown Farmers Market will serve as a central gathering place for the many communities on the West side of San Francisco. The market will take place year-round on Sundays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Stonestown Galleria. Please join us in celebrating! Civic Center Farmers Markets Move4th o July
On Thursday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 5th the Civic Center markets will move to the front parking lot of Marin Commons at 1600 Los Gamos Road, next to the YMCA in San Rafael. Pick up ingredients for your locally-grown summer BBQ! The markets will operate 8am – 1pm and will be held in their usual locations the following week.

MFM at the Marin County FairChef Demo
We’re excited to bring a series of cooking and educational demonstrations to the Marin County Fair, Wednesday, July 1st through Sunday, July 5th!  Each day MFM will host a cooking demonstration featuring a local chef, a local farmer and their products. Thirty minute demonstrations start at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. daily at the farmers market outdoor kitchen on the circular lawn. Visit MFM’s Special Events page for a detailed schedule including featured farmers, chefs, and recipes.

summer squashMarin Civic Center Thursday: Summer is here, and the market is abundant with luscious stone fruit and ripe blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. We also have fabulous summer lettuces and summer squash, and juicy, ripe melons later in the month.

zuchinniOakland-Grand Lake: Welcomes J.E. Perry Farms, the GLK market’s most local farm. Perry Farms operates in Fremont on a Regional Preserve and historic land.

Saturdays 9am – 2pm

peachesHayward: There is so much to look forward to in Hayward this summer – yummy stone fruit tastings, free produce raffles, a community recycling program, and we are adding new farmers, food purveyors, and artisans each and every week!

county fairMarin Civic Center Sunday: Don’t forget that on Sunday, July 5th (and Thur. July 2nd) the farmers market will move to the front parking lot of Marin Commons off Lucas Valley Rd. exit, due to the Fourth of July County Fair.

tentsStonestown: We look forward to welcoming over 50 local farmers, specialty food purveyors and artisans to the West side. Bring your family, your friends, your curiosity, your appetite, and your own reusable bags. We can’t wait to feed you!

cornNewark: Summer is here and so is the corn! Newark welcomes back RHS Farm and G&S Farm with corn. New to the market: Nago with Miso dressing.

cherriesNovato: Blueberries are on their way! Novato welcomes Triple Delight Blueberries to tuesday nights. Cherries are in their last couple weeks, so get ‘em while their hot. Tuesdays 4pm – 8pm

strawberries in basketFairfax:The Fairfax Market is thriving! Laguna Farm and Paradise Valley Produce have both returned with an abundance of summer veggies and a wide variety of greens. Sartori Strawberries are expected soon! Bring your blankets and your baskets!
