Tiburon CA, San Francisco Bay, Marin: Prima Palate Wine Bar welcomes new owner, Nancy Larson Sat Feb 25, 2012 5-8pm

Posted on 23 February 2012 by Robert James

Prima Palate Welcomes Nancy Larson
Please be our guest on
Saturday February 25th, from 5-8pm
Let us toast farewell to Brooke, and meet the new proprietor, Nancy.
As many of you know, my husband and I have been planning a move to Austin, Texas.  We have taken great care and time to ensure that we leave the shop in excellent hands.  The time has come and the community of Tiburon is incredibly lucky to have long time Tiburon resident, Nancy Larson, as the new owner of Prima Palate.

Nancy Larson is a 15 year resident of Tiburon and is excited to be joining Tiburon’s business community. Cooking, wine and entertaining are life-long passions and she’s eager to make them her full-time career. Currently, Nancy is a culinary student at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, CA graduating in May of 2013. Over the past several years her enthusiasm for bringing pleasure to people through food and wine has become her calling. Now after studying cooking and wine in Italy and the Napa Valley she’s become a true gastronome and has chosen to fashion her next career around food, wine, family and community.

Nancy and her husband, Scott, have a young daughter, Emma, who also enjoys putting on an apron in the kitchen. Prior to studying to become a chef and wine bar owner, Nancy spent several years at home being a mom and 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry at McKesson Corporation in San Francisco where she was Vice President of Product Strategy in the Pharmaceutical Division.

“Tiburon is a unique community. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion with those who enjoy sharing wine and food as much as I do.”

Nancy and Scott look forward to meeting you. Nancy can be reached at: 415-609-0945.

A note to my dear clients

I am excited for my new adventure in Austin, but it is with great sadness that I leave Prima Palate.
The last three and a half years have been incredibly rewarding.  My gratitude extends to the members of this community who have welcomed me with open arms and provided me with constant support.  Prima Palate is a special place–a place not only to discover unique wine and culinary delights, but also a safe haven to relax, laugh, and share in conversation with your neighbors.  Fortunately you have Nancy here to continue on with our traditions as well as create new and exciting ones for the future.
Thank you all for your friendship and appreciation for
what I have brought to Tiburon.  The

Brooke-Piemonte

shop depends on you and your continued support, so let us toast Nancy and look forward to new and exciting beginnings.
All my best,
Brooke Tognazzini
I really hope to see you there.
Lets party!
Saturday, February 25th
5-8pm  | Please RSVP

Dominick Chirichillo Bio:

The very first wine school in the country, The Bacchus School of Wine began as hobby and passion for master winemaker Dominick Chirichillo. It quickly it grew from there into an amazing winemaking business. From the fun-filled basement beginnings 10 years ago to the now state of the art winemaking room, winemaking at Bacchus will always be about producing quality wines using California grapes and the Italian tradition of winemaking!

Owner, Dominick Chirichillo is a self taught award winning winemaker (257 medals). He was first introduced to the art when he was two years old at his father’s and grandfather’s winepress. In 1989, Dominick took his passion for winemaking to public when he made is first homemade Barbera in an amateur winemaking contest in Del Mar, California. His Barbera took second place and first runner up to the Best of Show. Since then Dominick’s wines have received 47 awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze from the American Wine Society’s National Wine Competitions and a Bronze at his first International Competition. The American Wine Society has ranked Dominick 7th Nationally for winemaking excellence.

Dominick’s entrepreneurial endeavors over the past 25 years have led him to where he is today….. Sharing the “family tradition of winemaking,” with you. His vision of teaching people how to make excellent wines has lead him to his west coast winemaking club “Bacchus Winemaking Club” and also the launch of his very own wines called “Domenico Wines.” Dominick Chirichillo now moves forward to another “spectrum of competition” winning awards in various International Competitions. After the public release of DOMENICO WINES, Dominick took wine medals weekly in these competitions tallying a continually rising total of 18 overall gold, silver, and bronze wine medals.
