This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Jim Canepa, former owner of Mill Valley Market, who founded the event in 1981 and developed “a little wine and cheese gathering” into a major Bay Area highlight. Sip close to 70 of the best varietals, including the newest release of Silver Oak Cabernet, first-time appearances by Duckhorn, Etude and The Frank Family and a new discovery – LeVois. Nibble on many food items recently featured in San Francisco’s Fancy Food Show and enjoy the delicious servings from five celebrated Marin County restaurants including Balboa Café, Bungalow 44, Piatti, Piazza D’Angelo and Small Shed Flatbreads. In addition to the array of wines and gourmet foods, the event will feature a silent auction featuring private wine tastings, magnums, merchandise from favorite wineries and more…all against the smooth mellow sounds of jazz music.
