Host/Hostess (tiburon / belvedere)

The San Francisco Yacht Club, a Platinum 5 Star Private Club of America, located in Belvedere is seeking a full-time/part-time host or hostess for our main dining room (a la carte).

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, energetic, and reliable. The applicant must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task and work well both with a team and independently. He/She must be detail oriented, proactive, and willing to take initiative. We are looking for individuals who are both personable and dependable and who promote an attitude of gracious hospitality through courtesy, friendliness, and efficiency while taking reservations and seating Member(s). This highly visible position requires constant guest contact to ensure a positive Member experience.

The applicant should also have at least 2 years experience working in a restaurant. Private Club experience would be a bonus. Professional appearance will fit the post.

Regular work week is Wednesday-Sunday, for lunch and/or dinner service. We are looking for an individual who has a FLEXIBLE schedule. Holidays, weekends, and occasional overtime are requirements for this position.
